There is no Bill Gates problem. Time to move along.
In order to hijack the thread into a more positive direction, what's your estimate of how many lives saved by the actions and funding of the B&M Gates Foundation?

I think that understates their impact, because so many of their programs are aimed at improving the quality of those lives - beyond saving them - like childhood nutrition, education, and family planning.
They also were relatively early on the Open Data movement and Gates Open Research is under-appreciated. And the Giving Pledge has magnified Gates' impact and set such a positive example.
In tech, in the nineties, I would have been beyond skeptical that Bill Gates would become one of the greatest philanthropists that the world has ever seen. He's really redeemed himself and then some.

Hey guys - the board was doing so well not replying to this thread. It was going to die on its own before you jumped in. Sometimes its just better to ignore posts designed to elicit responses for no productive end.

The problem (of those posts) is easy to solve: I see only positive posts, only Jim's great post about Bill Gates and what he does for the world, the very interesting continuation by ajm101, and now yours. With those posts I have absolutely no problem, on the contrary.
What I don't see at all in the list of posts: The original post by whoever. "Whoever" because of his manic obsession will Bill Gates I long ago pushed a certain button, don't see his posts anymore, and because of that even forgot in the meantime who he, is as his posts since then are completely invisible for me, don't appear in the list of posts.
That's a great improvement from the old TMF board where you still saw and were bothered by posts from people you wanted to rather not see at all. Those posts were greyed out, but still visible and cluttering the list. Not so here.

We are just getting to the 1st layer of rot now with COVID19 and mRNA shots (see recent $2.6m offer to debate JFK Jr.Vs Peter Hotez). There is much more about the Gates/Fauci/DOD/WHO/CIA/FDA/NIH (and others) symbiosis yet to surface. It is all coming out.

If Buffett was a betting man, I would bet 1000 Bs that Buffett and Gates made a deal, you resign from the board of brkb, and you can remain affiliated and active with the foundation and Buffett would continue his donations to the Gates Foundation. The Gates Foundation has done some incredible work, globally. As brk partners, the recipients of those donations, going forward, isn't material to us, unless, the new recipients , 10b5 filing, is significantly different, from the Gates Foundation 10b5 filings. Gates has clearly put Buffett in an, uncomfortable position, to be kind.
