Stocks A to Z / Stocks B / Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) ❤

Please don't hesitate even slightly to let me know any investing topics, or investing strategies, that have demand from people, and I can add the board. I added 'Falling Knives', 'Living Below Your Means' and few others already. Which boards do you want?
Regarding companies (with stock symbols), there are only 5 right now, with Berkshire Hathaway the first to be added. I will next add all Russell 1,000 stocks, plus one 'Interesting Microcaps' board.

I have just now, rather, added all the companies in the S&P500 to keep the list a little cleaner - but other companies will need to be added.
If you plan to write about a particular company not found here, let me know it name and ticker and I'll add it right away for you. (It can be on an international exchange of course, and be of any size - the only criteria is that you plan to actually post real insights about it.) 🔍:🙇::♀:️:

This is crazy good and your efforts appreciated.
If you add a board, are you able to add their history too?

Thanks for setting this up, Manlobbi - it's amazing how you captured the look and feel of the old boards!
Are you going to allow some of the non-financial boards to possibly resprout here as well? I'd love to see Atheist Fools find a new home, but I don't know if that fits with your vision of what this place will be.

Definitely Athiest Fool, and Tax Strategies will come!
Let me know others that are definitely wanted to be resurrected, and I'll do so.
I'm just attending to any technical problems as I'm observing the posts appear, but in the middle of this I'll be adding the new boards. So schrewd away!
Please spread the word to your communities in those boards (in particular, those who will not use the new boards and would otherwise have permanently left). I'm relying on you guys very much: please dig up all your emails from far back, and invite the lost investors back.
Also, please use the www.shrewdom.com domain name. It re-directs for now, but in a few weeks it won't, so Shrewdians need to know the actual site URL which is only www.shrewdom.com - so please publish that only.

I won't add the past history, but authors can re-post on the boards here any articles written by themselves in the past, as a new article. Some authors will have copies of what they wrote in the past, particularly long posts, and there is no problem for them to republish.

What a brilliant concept. And a great antithesis for today's Twitter/Instagram one-sentence/one-image world. Consider it in. Round up the Shrews.
The other board proposals posted recently are also all great, and I'm working on it, requires some extra infrastructural work that I am doing now.

For those who were not aware, all the old posts are still available here. And well indexed.

I went there...very interesting. Found a couple posts from 2000, but from what I could tell, there were only certain boards.
I am guessing a particular individual used this method to capture the board history they liked.
Any chance other sites exist with more of the other boards' history, too?
thx,
Dreamer

Albaby
Hi Albaby, I have just added the atheist board here with a new major category to allow non-finance, titled 'Halls of Shrewdom' The themes within the board may still weighted to some extent towards common-sense and astuteness (shrewd), yet that is often fitting with the culture that I recall at the atheist board at TMF earlier on, so I think the board is suitable here.
Can you try to contact friends and colleagues to start posting there? We can keep it there as long as everyone needs, but requires your (and other's) actions to catalyse posting.

I have added 'An Open Letter' on the main front board list page. If you can encourage those that used it in the past to post, that will help, and of course fire away yourself. If the board is not used over several months we can remove, but it will be good to trial because the concept is in keeping with Shrewdness (a culture of attention to detail, deeper thought, and the antithesis of one-sentence Tweets).

It would be great if Saul and group are invited to continue here, for Saul's Investing Discussions board.

Saul is welcome to have his board back with the previous format, now that he has that opportunity. Please let his community know but only if Saul prefer his board here then I'll create it, and his community can start posting as they did at TMF. There is already the FAQ feature linked below every post, so they can pass that to me also.
If Saul does not prefer his board here, then alternatively some of the SAS community who prefer the previous format may want to create their own 'Shrewdom Software as a Service' board in addition. It is a different aesthetic, and I think more focussed here.

First, thank you! This is like someone gifted me my twenties back! This is the best seasonal gift anyone could ever give a fool. Hell, even Mungo has returned. That says a lot.
I'd welcome Saul on this format as I do like following their discussions of high risk, high reward companies, but he'd never cede the kind of control he has on the fool boards.

Thank you. Your Shrewdom posts have been great! I'm really relieved about how many people feel, sometimes in a very real sense, back together again. It doesn't even matter when there are sometimes pauses between some of their posts, because they still know there is a place they can check back on that knowing particular other companions are in 'in the loop' with their observations. It is pleasant for some people, pretty important to some people, extremely so to others.

Can you include 'Outskirts of Shrewdom' on the main page of Table of Contents? This will make those easily accessible to all.
Here...

Actually, I meant under 'All Boards' at the top of this page.

The 'Outskirts of Shrewdom' is not linked to the main page which is the whole purpose of that specific category. The 'Outskirts of Shrewdom' board category is used as a way to test the audience (plus private boards residing there also), before placing the board on the main page. It requires the board initiator to invite a lot of people to the board, but that is sometimes how communities get started.
Also, if you have a link to a board on the Outskirts page, and then recommend any page - it will from there on appear in your Favourites (so you can get to it any time by clicking 'Favourites').
