My first day on the Shrew'd METaR board, I offered the same advice, in reply to another post about citizenship, that I have offered on the Fool board: get your papers in order, and be careful about who you associate with.

Jeff flamed me, by name, for "politics".

I replied to another post with a bit of historical context.

InParadise flamed me for that.

I went from zero to doghouse in 12 hours.

Jeff posted words to the effect that Trump wants to throw Ukraine under the bus, to end the war fast, so he gets a Nobel, because he's but-hurt that Obama has one, and he doesn't. How is that NOT politics? And that is only one of a number of cases.

Then Jeff had the nerve to flame "new arrivals" for politics, again.

I'm done with that board.

You still where you were?

Yup. Thought about moving to a less congested area when I retired, but there are so many interesting things to do around here.
