‘America’s Greatest Generation,’ AKA the World War II Generation, refers to Americans born roughly between 1901 and 1927,

My dad was one and he was born in 1925. He's been gone for 8 years now, and I miss him. He was a civil engineer in WWII, got a PhD in philosophy at the once principled Columbia University in NYC, and taught philosophy at a local University for 40 years. He lived a much more eventful and satisfyingly full life than I have. If only I were half as "great"!
