A remarkable story. Another Trump appointee (possibly illegally) who doesn't know whether she is on foot or on horseback.
The reporter, Bower, asked Lindsey Halligan (who had reached out to her) again and again and again to tell her what was wrong in her story (which was really just summarizing events anyway). Halligan had no response except weird evasive pre-rolled cliches.
So why text the reporter at all, one might ask, especially since Halligan is absolutely prohibited from discussing anything to do with the grand juries in her cases?
I watched part of an interview she did with one of the state media channels, Newsmax or OAN, and I was alarmed at what a nitwit she came off as. She could hardly complete a sentence.
And this is, at least for now, now the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Nice hair, though.

One of my favorites was Halligan telling Bower that the texts were off the record 9 days after she started the texts and as Bower was writing her story.
I believe the legal term for that is "oopsies".

Kind of makes you wonder how she auditioned for her first legal job with Trump, doesn't it?
