And if every sperm is a person, then so is every egg, and even more so since sperm outnumber eggs billions to one.

But wait! Those gametes (haploid cells) only have half the DNA that defines a person. By rights, every single somatic cell, each of which has the full complement of DNA that defines a person, should be defined as a person, and have all the same rights. This is the theory of somatic cell personhood.

Since this is obviously absurd, so is the idea of zygote/embryo/fetal personhood. QED.

(PS: Gamete => Zygote => Embryo => Fetus => Infant => Child => Adult)
