He makes some good points that many aren't hearing.

When a decision is made that Jews are less than human, and treated that way in words and deeds, I now know that is exactly the message that Hamas sent. On purpose. At scale.

I had seen that bodies had been burned but I did not understand - or appreciate - how intention the effort was. They did it methodically. You hear in the voices, in the commands. The ease, the excitement of finding and mutilating victims...being told "let them play with it".

Merely murdering innocents was the least of it.

It wasn't death from above. It was death hands-on, in your face, and personal.

His point is that Hamas intended to not only kill, maim, rape, and loot but also to send a message while doing it.

Israel, of course, needs to send its own message: No Hamasniks left alive. That's a pretty good message.

And the most important point
This was not the irrepressible angst of the desperate, who want freedom, who want better...they wanted the Jews to know that they wanted them to burn. Again.

You don't reason with this kind of evil. You root it out, hound it out into the open, and destroy it. To the last.
