I heard an unusual idea about what could happen if Trump wins in 2024. If we grant that he couldn't pardon himself for his federal crimes, what if he goes under general anesthesia for some surgical procedure, and his vice president assumes the powers of the presidency for an hour or two. Could the vice president then pardon Trump?
