It's rather edifying to see all of this come crawling out of the woodwork after literally YEARS of pointing it out and having to put up with the ridiculous denials (which still go on to this day):
https://twitter.com/ChuckCallesto/status/171259194...JUST IN: Starbucks Employees Union Expresses 'Support for Palestine' Following Recent Hamas Terrorist Attacks..
Starbucks Workers United, representing around 9,000 Starbucks baristas, faced backlash after expressing "solidarity with Palestine" following a recent Hamas attack on Israelis.
The union, based in Buffalo, NY, later deleted the post but "liked" a tweet from one of its members stating, "Once again, free Palestine."
US Senator Rick Scott called for a boycott of Starbucks and criticized the union for its tweets, urging the company to denounce support for terrorism.
Starbucks swiftly distanced itself from the union, asserting its condemnation of acts of terrorism and disagreeing with the statements made by Workers United.
The coffee chain emphasized that SWU and SEIU do not represent the company's views.Heh. If one were to poll many of their employees over at Corporate HQ in downtown Seattle, that last line might not end up being true...

It's rather edifying to see all of this come crawling out of the woodwork after literally YEARS of pointing it out and having to put up with the ridiculous denials ... Starbucks Workers United, representing around 9,000 Starbucks baristas, faced backlash after expressing "solidarity with Palestine" following a recent Hamas attack on Israelis.Well, let's see.
Starbucks Workers United is a subset of Workers United which is a subset of the Service Employees International Union.
Starbucks Workers United represents workers at 340 stores worldwide.
There are 34,000 Starbucks stores worldwide.
So the union represents .01% of Starbucks stores.
And the social media post from Starbucks Workers United that expressed "Solidarity with Palestine!" has been removed.
But sure, condemn every Starbucks store and every Starbucks employee -- which, incidentally, have condemned the attack on Israel -- because, well, rather than condemn those who actually put out the social media post, ya' just gotta' paint with that big broad republican boycott brush.

Sorry, but the Left.....and AHEM many who are with the Left let this all happen.
Here's to new voices standing up.
I said for years that chickens support Colonel Sanders and all they do is USE the Right.
Well, now it's come home to roost.
Funny part is this is little to do with people's politics. ANTI-CERTAIN-PEOPLE-ISM...is part of identity in Leftist Circles.
It's an accessory, no different than a badge, a brand name of shoe, etc.
So be it.
Who knows, this might bring about better behavior....in certain camps that need to exhibit such.

Attack? You guys twist and exaggerate words just to bash Trump, a classic sign of TDS.
Trump said Hezbollah is smart. He is not saying he supports terrorism. Fact: Hezbollah is smart.
Trump says Gallant is a jerk. Jerk is probably the wrong word but Trump is critiizing Gallant admonishing Hezbollah to not attack from the North which Trump claims points out Israel is relatively weak on that front. Fact: Israel is relatively weak on that front.
Trump said: There were some very fine people,. He i=not saying he favors riots and violence. Fact: Evey large crowd includes some good people in it who are there simply to see what is going on. Same with many on the Jan 6 crowd. There are not all white supremacists who yearn for an authoritarian government.
Trump said drink bleach. Here are his exact words. No mention of bleach or the word drink.
"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it'd be interesting to check that, so that you're going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we'll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That's pretty powerful."
Trump is attacking Israel. He is not saying the Palestinians are being treated unfairly, or that Israel is illegitimate, of that it is evil. He did say that Israeli intelligence failed to pick up the pending attack. It is true, they did not. Neither did US intelligence.
And Finally, Hands up, Don't Shoot.

Attack? You guys twist and exaggerate words just to bash Trump, a classic sign of TDS.libruls lie to themselves before they start lying to everyone else. It's just how they roll. It's also not a surprise that they're desperately trying to deflect attention from their movement's rabid antisemitism and try to talk about something else - anything else - than to have the truth get out there.
Problem. The truth is already out there.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/hundreds-of-p...Hundreds of people took to the streets of Seattle Saturday in support of the people of Palestine and against attacks on Gaza. Protesters were also calling on the United States to stop supporting Israel.
The rally started at Westlake Center and led to a march through several downtown city blocks. People at the rally said they were marching to make sure their voices were heard, as their concern for the people in Gaza is growing.
'I think it's terrible that they're being told to get in cars and buses and then they bomb the buses,' said a rally participant named Lauren. 'It's beyond hatred.'Hamas bombed its own people trying to leave, not Israel, but these NPC's wouldn't know that. They were too busy chanting "From the river to the sea" again.
Local Seattle media tried to cast it as some kind of peace rally, but I see a lot of
keffiyeh there.

Of course the larger group of spectators would include a mix. But Trump was not talking about a group of people that included spectators. He was referring very specifically to those who were marching and chanting antisemitic statements. And he did not say: There were some very fine people there, BUT... He did not say: ALTHOUGH there were some very fine people there...... Nope nope and nope.

Tee, hee:
https://nypost.com/2023/10/18/starbucks-workers-un...Starbucks and the union organizing its workers sued each other Wednesday in a standoff sparked by a social media post over the Israel-Hamas war.
Starbucks sued Workers United in federal court in Iowa Wednesday, saying a pro-Palestinian social media post from a union account early in the Israel-Hamas war angered hundreds of customers and damaged its reputation.
Starbucks is suing for trademark infringement, demanding that Workers United stop using the name 'Starbucks Workers United' for the group that is organizing the coffee company's workers.
