>>I am a citizen. There are consequences to free speech right now.<<
My favorite subject in school was history. For several years now, observing the trends, I have been warning the members of METAR to get their papers in order. I fully expect to be called in to the Township Clerk's office to provide documents proving I am a citizen, or have my voting registration revoked. I fully expect to be called in to the Social Security office, with the same docs, to prove I qualify for SS and Medicare. So, I have gathered together: certified birth certificate from Wayne County, MI, certificate of birth registration from the city of Dearborn, and certificate of birth registration from the state of Michigan, for myself. Certified US birth certificates for both of my parents. My dad's birth certificate shows his parents born in Canada, so I wrote to INS and obtained photos of their copies of my paternal grandparent's declaration of intent to become citizens, application for citizenship, and certificate of naturalization.
For the halibut, a few days ago, I asked Google's AI thing if the German stock market went up, or down, during the 30s. Mr Google said the market went up, but the companies closely associated with the (can we say Nazi here, or do I use my METAR euphemism "Berlin brownies"?) rose about 50% more than average.
A day or two after, I saw a piece on the wire, from Forbes, reporting that White House staff had compiled a list of 553 companies, and ranked them by how supportive they are of (can I say "his nibs" here, or use the fallback euphemism "himself"?).
Who people associate with will matter. Fox Noise uses guilt by association constantly. I remember watching Sean Hannity bellowing that "Big O" likes Jeremiah Wright, Jeremiah Wright likes Louis Farrakhan, Louis Farrakhan hates white people, calls them the devil", then left it to viewers to close the loop: "therefore, "Big O" hates white people". Remember how Yusuf Islam was banned from the US because, supposedly, a charity he supported, supported terrorism? I stopped donating to MSF on the last go around. Now, MSF is complaining about what is going on in Gaza, which is, apparently, defacto, a crime. Glad I severed that relationship several years ago.
When I was in Jr High, 65-68, one of my teachers was a post-war emigre, from the Netherlands. A couple times, he talked about living under Nazi occupation. He was not a Jew, but he had black hair. He said he often got the stink-eye from the Nazis, just because of the color of his hair.
