...that at least one thing continues to go the way it should.

Outside of my desk window, I have marks on the porch rail where, when viewed from my desk chair, the sun should clear the eastern hills at sunup on the equinox(es), and on the summer and winter solstices.

Today the sun came up exactly where it was supposed to.
