There's a good chance wikidot is going the way of the Fool's original discussion boards soon - unsupported, limping along currently on some server hosted in Europe.
Would a few documentarians volunteer to help me move it to MediaWiki? using
github.com - Wikidot to mediawiki python tooling, should take limited time.
or another site that a board member recommends as free, cloudbased and maintained/supported.
Many of the old links are still relevant, but lost in the shutdown first of old fool.com and then the datahelper archive. The Yorick project brought many back, but it would be great if a few would help with some grunt work to find the original post and capture the Yorick link.
I also haven't added anything to the FAQ recently. Preserving the documentation to GTR1 seems paramount even as it fades to obsolescence with time (not yet). But newer backtesting sites and basic information on their best use / how to get started is a topic, among others that could use creation and posting.
Thoughts welcome,
