Iran says if we’re going down, we’ll take as many folks down with us. So they send drones to power plants throughout the M.E.
Power supply is degraded, which is needed to pump and produce oil. This lasts for weeks? Months?
Less oil is produced which, in turn, causes prices to jump in any activity that requires oil to be used. This is just the opposite of what Trump wants to occur.

It is fundamental to not make threats you are not willing to follow through on. Trump has backed out on so many promises and threats nobody pays attention anymore.
I am reminded of this story of raising kids...
The kids were not cleaning up their toys. The parents threatened to throw them all away unless they picked them up. Guess what, as a family they waved goodbye to all the toys as the garbage truck emptied their garbage can. Most everybody seems to understand this fundamental rule... except Trump. I can understand making this mistake once resulting in doing something you really regret, but over and over again?
