The official commencement of Trump’s “Firing Season”
Kristi and Pam- you may feel relief at no longer having to bury whatever shreds of integrity you have left by taking the fall for his criminality, but you will have many occasions to be hauled in front of hearings, testify at depositions, and give testimony at your coming crinal and civil trials.
Looking forward to it.

The official commencement of Trump’s “Firing Season”
It has belatedly occurred to he-who-shall-not-be-named that there is a reasonable prospect of losing his Senate majority in the upcoming midterms, or at least it is no longer unthinkable. Therefore if he is going to get new cabinet secretaries confirmed he needs to get on with it - and soon.
A closer Senate might require that his picks have, well qualifications, and that his oddball choices (everyone from Kash Patel to Kristie Noem, RFK Jr, Linda McMahon, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, etc.) might not get through a less compliant group of sycophants - so now is the time to dump and restock.
For those keeping track, here are the totals of Cabinet Secretaries replaced during their terms:
Reagan: 6
George HW Bush: 8
Clinton: 4
George Bush Jr: 2
Obama: 3
Trump1: 14
Which of those numbers is not like the other?

And Biden had only 2. The numbers you listed were all first term only. Turnover is higher in second term due to extended time commitment / exhaustion.
