" Just because somebody doesn't do something YOU think would have been a good idea doesn't mean it was an error, unforced or not.

Lots of people disagree about that strategy, presumably including Mr Buffett.

Good morning old bud, have you become an authorized Buffett spokesman? Are you saying that if Buffett was asked today, if he should have authorized a buyback at material discounts to IV in 2006, or soon thereafter, Buffett would say, no way, his buyback strategy and timing was perfect? Seriously?
