Yep. This point has been made over and over, but even the intelligent MAGA-ites don't seem to grok.

That is a tell-tale sign of a cult. While you're in it, no matter how smart you are, you just don't see the truth. Which is why I'm starting to come around to the notion that MAGA (and specifically Trump) is a cult of personality.
