From Seth Abramson's reporting:
According to a 2014 Los Angeles Times report [linked below], in Texas in the early 2010s — while [Jonathan] Ross was working for the Border Patrol there (2007 to 2013) — Border Patrol agents made it a habit to "deliberately step in the path of cars apparently to justify shooting at the drivers." An independent review of that agency in that state at that time — i.e., the time Ross was there — found at least 67 cases of this homicidal gambit being employed, and reported, moreover, that this sinister scheme resulted in nineteen killings.https://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-xpm-...https://bsky.app/profile/cmalia.bsky.social/post/3...

WOW this MEANS THIS IS THE 18TH TIME ROSS DID IT!!!!
You clowns.
You cite conclusory allegations as "facts" (from incredibly biased "sources") and then claim "I WIN."

And now, days later, the media is reporting Ross suffered internal bleeding.
Ross is the victim! He was hurt!!! It only took a few days to discover he was hurt.
And, of course, we need to believe everything the regime says, about what victims they are.
ICE agent who shot Renee Good suffered internal bleeding, officials say
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.
It was unclear how extensive the bleeding was. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed Ross' injury, but has not yet responded to CBS News' requests for more information. This story will be updated as we learn more.https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ice-agent-who-sh...Does a bruise count as "internal bleeding"?

It's not surprising that if a person is hit by a demented far left lesbian loon driving her SUV like Marge Simpson in her Canyonero, he would have some internal bleeding.
Do you not believe in medical science?

Wow! This explains what was puzzling me, because there was no reason for him to draw his weapon, as there was no threat. It also explains why he placed himself partly in front of the car - he was setting it up so he could shoot her and get away with it. There's a high likelihood of no conviction, but this explains a lot.
This is a rogue cop, who needs to never be a LEO again. Give him a desk job with no weapon, as he's likely a psychopath - having manipulativeness, lack of empathy, a disregard for rules, etc. If you look at the videos of him coming around the car, take a look at him recognizing the potential for setting up his shooting her. If she moved forward, even if turning he shoots, and gets away with her murder.

There's no statute of limitations on murder. If the next POTUS prevents the DOJ from shielding him, then MN can prosecute as they see fit (or not, if they choose...but at least it would be their decision).

Does a bruise count as "internal bleeding"?
Absolutely. The fact that they called it "internal bleeding" instead of "a bruise" speaks volumes.
He was clearly fine as he chased after the car...

Oh if only it were just inflammatory speculation.
These leftists are delusionally paranoid.
They don't live in reality.
One of these num nutz actually thinks he's smarter than Scott Adams.
It's such a typical leftist hubristic arrogant attitude.
I think albaby is the most articulate (and boringly verbose) version of it around here.
They are never wrong, always engage in circular reasoning, but that reasoning is disconnected from factual reality.
I mean real facts.
All their data points are stuff they read on the internet and social media.
Which of course is highly curated to brainwash the weak-minded.
They don't know how SUVs work in the real world. That's just one example.
They believe a crazed lesbian driving at you with an SUV doesn't represent a threat.
Instead of advising their ilk to calmly cooperate with LEOs, they tell them to "resist."
Then they wonder why a conflict between the resistor and the LEO happens.
It's like they make a career out of shitting the bed and then pretend it's chocolate ice cream.
Absolutely delusional.

Inflammatory speculation.
Speculation, but not inflammatory. And we can speculate here if it's rational. I've previously questioned why he drew his gun when he did as there was no threat, and I questioned why he placed himself part way in the path of the car - that I would have stepped to the side of the car. And let's face it there are rogue cops, they are nothing new and run about 3% of cops. There's nothing inflammatory - we now have a reasoned explanation about what puzzled me. It's analytical.
It occurred to me yesterday that this could be the case, but I didn't want to deal with a reaction to a post. Now let's see this report with the 67 incidents.

What do people usually do when struck? They're checking that area out and may take off clothing to look at it. Did he do that? No.

This post by Lapsody ("what do people usually do when struck") shows such a total lack of ANY real world experience that it confirms exactly what I had said a few posts ago in what the Rev. ZambOHni called my "soliloquy":
Most of you guys have zero grasp on reality.
It is obvious Lapsody has never been in a physical fight, nor has he ever been in a car accident, nor does he actually know anyone who has been in a fight or a car accident.
He's never done anything "physical" in his life.
He's never been on a sports team.
He doesn't know any doctors or lawyers who deal with clients who have been in car accidents.
He doesn't know any human anatomy or human psychology.
Hell, he doesn't even bother to do five seconds of ChatGPT "research" to ever question his own assumptions or biases. He only uses it with prompts to create arguments (true or false doesn't matter) that he can cut and paste to "win."
I'm not even going to bother explaining what I mean since any person who has actual experience in the real world completely understands my point.

Why does a VPN matter? Does LA Times block access from a VPN? How would they know?
What happens when you click on the LA Times link? I don't subscribe and I get no paywall myself:
https://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-xpm-...But here's an archived copy that I just created since there was none already:
https://archive.ph/8cOcoAs for the Bluesky link, I believe everyone should have read access by default, but it was just a screenshot of the text I included from Seth's research article. His stuff IS behind a paywall, though you can click some buttons to get free 1-time access.

Well, not to imply it holds in this case, but people can get seriously injured and show no symptoms until hours later. Adrenaline is a wonderful thing. I'm sure there's a medical term for this...
That said, based on the videos, there's ZERO chance that's what happened to Ross. Let's see the ER doctor's report!

Steve203: Does a bruise count as "internal bleeding"?
A bruise is the most common type of internal bleeding, simply skin discoloration from damaged, leaking blood vessels beneath the skin.

Well, Ninjabytes was blocking Shrewdm, so I used Proton VPN and stopped getting blocked by Ninjabytes. But the archive that I use to get past paywalls seemed to take forever to open and most of the time "time out" when I wanted to read a blocked article when using the VPN. So I've now learned to disconnect the VPN when I want to use the archive, and when certain other delays/blockages happen and then turn it back on so I get access to Shrewdm. Without the VPN I can go into reader mode and get the remaining paragraphs to that story. I'm using VPN most of the time now because its automatic, but have learned how to shut it off and turn it back on. I'm typing now without the VPN and everything seems fine, so whatever triggered the Ninjabytes may be gone and I can go back to the normal old way. :) Hope that makes sense, and thanks. I would love to see that report about the 67 instances.

LurkerMom,
I was running around doing some errands this morning (Dang!).
However I got to listen to Mark Simone on I think 710 in the NYC area, I like the guy but don't often listen to the radio anymore.
In any event, he had interview clips with Renee Good's "father in law," i.e. the FATHER of Renee's lesbian best friend, Rebecca.
He was very reasonable and laid no blame on Officer Ross at all.
Fancy that. Someone close enough to the people involved to actually have a personal stake was 1,000,000% more fair, reasonable, and objective than the leftist dum dums.

Can he be considered rogue now that the DHS is soliciting people prone to violence as their preferred agents?
They want people attracted to WWE fighting, Stock car racing, NRA, 2A, MAGA rallies, ex military, ex cops, members of 'patriot' organizations, martial arts and fighting hobbyists, ammosexuals of all stripes...?
Cliche, but it's now a feature; not a bug.

Here you go: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/...I pulled this recommendation from page 8:
[CBP policy should be
“Agents shall not discharge their firearms at or from a
moving vehicle unless deadly physical force is being used against the police officer
or another person present, by means other than a moving vehicle.” Training and
policy changes should be implemented to implement this policy.]
Have no idea whether this was implemented or not, but it's a good idea. Page12:
[2. Officers/agents should avoid standing directly in front of, behind, or beside a suspect
vehicle and should not intentionally use their body to block the suspect vehicle. The
likelihood of injury to the officer/agent substantially increases when using these
dangerous and rarely effective tactics.
Officers/agents should strive to move out of the
way rather than into the path of vehicles.]

Interesting and informative report!
Make me remember all the Leftist nut jobs protesting King Obama in 2012-2013 about the CBP relentlessly deadly and violent immigration enforcement techniques!!
Oh wait no they didn't.

Nor did the MSM.
Nor did....YOU.
