No, not miserable nor jealous of Jim. Quite the opposite actually.
Would I like a more varied discussion? Yes.
Would I like others to lead topics that actually gained traction? Yes.
Would I like Jim to lay off the lectures that honestly seem way to simplistic and topics already elaborated on infitite times previously? Yes.
Would I like to discuss things other than 3 point up for the day or two stocks that haven't done well? Yes.
It isn't anything more than that. But if you need to play sides then do so. To me, a southern boy, sides are what you get when you go to the "meat-'n-three" restaurant. I stand for myself and others should too.
Honestly as far as being rich? There are quite a few posters here who probably are and far more that should be. Some have been posting on the Berkshire forums for about 25 years. Plug in what ole dealraker's gotten, and I don't claim it is skill and never have, that's 14% or so...it adds up.
Happy camper here, love the forums. I read everything people post. Both me and my brother (he's 71) have Waldenstrom's leukemia and we both found out about the same time which was 5 or so years ago. So far so good, but the average life for those with it doesn't get a happy ending much past 10 years.
LOL. Life is great...if you can stand it. Can we please discuss other stocks than DG....please?! Again, the one down the street from here is depressing.
