You can dress however you want, and think of yourself as a woman, and can even mutilate your body in that belief, but you are and always will be a man. It is no different that someone who truly believes they have been abducted and probed. Fine by me if that makes you happy. Just don't expect me to embrace your fantasy, and by all means don't use government to force me to not hold or express that opinion.
No, all that said, there are genuine cases of gender dysphoria. But their number is about 0.00001% of the cases that are popping up. And children most of all need time for their brains and identity to mature before making unalterable life changing decisions. Instead, at the first mention they are rushed into treatment, sometime secret counseling after being diagnosed by a grade school nurse. Time to put the brakes on this nonsense, except for the few hundred cases of genuine dysphoria and even for them, don't start whacking off body parts until they are 18, even if the parents want them whacked.
