" You may be seeing things that are not there, to fit a preconceived notion or bias. When did Buffett ever say he'd donate to the Gates Foundation after his death? In Buffett's June 26, 2006, letter to Mr. and Mrs. William H. Gates III, he wrote the following:
Dear Bill and Melinda:"
I'm sure you don't realize it but if Buffett isn't disappointed in many of the choices Gates has made in his life, that's even worse! PLUS, it's very clear Buffett wasn't happy about the overhead at the Gates Foundation, to be kind. Some of you love Buffett even more than loyal trumper love trump, it isn't healthy.
IF, I was convinced Buffett isn't disappointed in Bill I would sell it all on the open and pay the tax.
