Several spirits companies have been in the doldrums lately. Declining sales of spirits in US and worries over China raising tariffs have hurt companies like Brown Forman, Diageo, Remy, Pernot, which are down 20 - 40% over the last year. Many are trading at unusually low valuations. Being recession resistant and consistent performers, they don’t often go on sale, about once a decade.
Anyone own any of these companies or thinking of buying?
