"Stopping Trump is a short-term solution. The long-term solution—and it will be more difficult—is fixing the educational system that has created so many people ignorant enough to vote for Trump."

During my years in retail, I found there were two sorts of people: ignorant, and stupid. The ignorant people could be educated. The stupid people were impossible to help.
The problem is that the MAGA sorts have been programmed, for decades, about what victims they are, of every attempt to make this country more inclusive, so more people had better opportunities. The one thing that would make MAGA happy, would be to take everything away from everyone else, so that is what Trump promises, until they give him what he wants.

It's not that a lot of left wingers are ignorant - there's a lot more going on. You have to add to that a level of personal delusion and narcissism.
Reading this board, you see so many textbook cases it's funny.
