In today's Shinyland, *anyone* could be carrying, legally, or not. So lets kill everyone in sight, to make sure LEO are safe.
I’m all for restricting concealed (and open) carry, but unfortunately, we seem to have a Supreme Court that says Americans should have the right to carry weapons wherever they damned well please. That being the case, Alex Pretti was within his rights to carry a concealed weapon, and he had permission from the state to do so.
A long time ago, I made the decision NEVER to carry a gun- for exactly the reason that played out yesterday, as well as for a host of other reasons.
Am I against guns? Nope. I’ve owned them, been around them and used them all of my life.
But they remain at home. For me, that’s where they belong, except when I am transporting them for a legitimate reason.
But Alex broke no law by carrying.
