I guess shrewdm.com has a new hosting service somewhere in the chain, I can no longer post (unless this one goes through). I'm blocked by an application call Bitninja when I try to preview the post. It sometimes just blocks me outright with an error, sometimes prompts me with a Captcha or a "delist me" button, but never lets me past.
I tried for a long time to post something on the MI board, but couldn't do it. Lost my post.

Ugh. On the old Fool board, that happened all the time to me. It got to the point where my default approach to posting was to copy my post, only deleting it after it finally posted. Sorry for your frustration.

If that happens again, can you email me a screenshot of the application that appears in your browser that is blocking you?
There is security software that tries to block server attacks, so occasionally there is a Captcha if something looks (even incorrectly) suspicious to it.
Easing such software is far more dangerous, can and will result in the server occasinoally down for everyone rather than individuals having to do a Captcha occasionally.

I could not access the site from at least 7am to 9am central US time. I know of at least one other user who experienced the same issue. I'm sorry but I did not take a screen shot of the server error text but will if it happens again.

The same thing happened to me for at least a week. I tried with another browser and the Website was not responding. I thought shrewdm.com was dead.
Then, a few days ago, I was able to access the boards again and realized everything seemed fine with many people posting when I couldn't get in.

I just thought I'd add that the problem has not recurred since that week. All good.
