“Former Minnesota Vikings captain Jack Brewer is speaking out against the hundreds of anti-ICE agitators in Minnesota and says he knows why Democrats are fighting so hard to stop President Trump’s immigration policies.
Brewer blasted the state’s Democrats for fomenting an insurrection and insisted that the reason they are mad is because ICE is “deporting their voters.”

“We’re deporting their voters. That’s part of what’s happening and it’s blowing up their whole plan,” the former NFL player told Fox News.
“You can’t allow people to come into your country who don’t carry the same morals and values that you do. That’s what’s happening. Minneapolis is protecting these thugs. It’s unbelievable. These people are demonic,” Brewer continued. “I’ve done work in third-world countries for 25 years. The values are not the same… You cannot let people come into the United States who come from cultures like that, because they bring their culture with them. That’s what’s happening.”
The former NFL safety also slammed the state’s Democrat voters.
“There is something wrong in Minneapolis. We need a city-wide behavioral health assessment. People have completely lost reality,” he said. “I hope President Trump sends in the National Guard. We need curfews. We need real consequences for attacking law enforcement. These men and women should be able to do their jobs and go home to their families safely.”

In addition to that screed being comical, it also shows that even football players can lie.

Former NFL player Jack Brewer has been open about his personal experience with head injuries and has directly referenced playing during the era highlighted in the 2015 movie Concussion.
That’s the guy whose opinion you value? A football player who suffered multiple concussions? That’s the best you could come up with?
That explains a lot.

You gotta admit, though….
It’s a step up from Gateway Pundit.

The guy was a football player. That makes him a "celeb". "Celebs", for no perceptible reason, are deemed credible, regardless what they say. That is why people with something to sell want a "celeb" endorsement.
So here's Fox Noise, still trying to sell the myth about non-citizens voting in huge numbers, so they pay/induce a football player to endorse their narrative.

"Illegals" can't vote. Even lawful permanent residents can't vote.
Anyone who is successfully pretending to have citizenship here, and then possibly voting, isn't who ICE is snagging. They're getting folks checking in for their hearings, folks trying to fly under the radar, folks with protection orders, etc. Plus actual citizens (though ICE mostly shoots those).

After two summary executions (that I know of) in as many weeks -something I thought couldn't happen in America anymore-, I think I'm conveying the correct message. Now, if those two ICE officers are arrested and tried, then maybe I'll soften on that point. As of now, the administration is hiding the officers like the Catholic church hides pedophile priests.

After two summary executions (that I know of)One in LA, on New Year.
Two narratives:
-Porter was firing rounds into the air, as New Year celebration.
-The off duty ICE trooper shot him dead, on sight, as an "active shooter".
Family of man killed by off-duty ICE agent in LA demands charges: ‘The ache will never go away’
Keith Porter Jr, a 43-year-old father of two, was fatally shot by an ICE officer on New Year’s Eve outside his apartment complex, according to LA and federal officials. An LA police department (LAPD) spokesperson said after the incident that Porter had fired gunshots into the air. A US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson said the off-duty immigration officer was “forced to defensively use his weapon” while responding to an “active shooter”.https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/16/ke...Around Detroit, so many people fire their guns into the air on New Year, that civic organizations started handing out little bells for people to ring, instead, because the bullets falling back to earth could injure people.

Yeah...people who fire guns in the air should be arrested and tried. Not necessarily shot, but you do increase the risk if a LEO catches you in the act, and you do anything other than drop the firearm instantly. I don't have a lot of sympathy for the LA dude (he's endangering the public, since -as you said- the bullets are going to come down somewhere), but he should have been given a chance to drop the weapon.
Firecrackers are annoying as hell, but better than firing your gun into the air.
