I would love to see that. It's taken 40 years too long. As I recall, when it was ratified by enough states a few years ago, there was questioning about if it had "expired". Though I'm not aware of any constitutional time limit (but maybe there is one?).

It would be a nice bow on what has turned out to be a decent 4-year term. And would infuriate the convict further (I gather he is in a tizzy that judicial appointments are still being made). But that latter would just be a bonus.
