If you think the democrats care about protecting your rights and your identity, boy are you in for a rude shock. The party orients itself towards the Strong Horse of intersectionality - meaning, which 'victim' group is the biggest, the loudest, and has the most energy? And which one represents the biggest potential gain in demographics?

You can't make a good case for the Republican Party protecting people's rights when they are the party that is favored by neo-Nazis, white supremacists and intolerant bigots of every sort.

From a book for which JD Vance wrote a blurb and warmly endorsed:

“Our study of history has brought us to this conclusion: Democracy has never worked to protect innocents from the unhumans,” write Posobiec and Lisec.-- A perfect inversion of reality; democracy is the only form of government that protects the innocents.

The only people the MAGA party will protect are the super rich and powerful. You want a Putin style oligarchy? Vote for Trump.
