Imagine an entire Administration of like minded individuals, hand-selected and loyalty-checked managing the government's response after a natural disaster, a terrorist event, etc.

We don't have to imagine. We've already seen it in action during the pandemic. Need masks? Go find your own. Need gloves and gowns? Go find your own. Need information? Don't listen to that scientist over in the corner, just drink bleach, stuff a light in your butt, and take this horse dewormer. Besides, it's just the flu. Get over it. Until you get the infection yourself, then go get some of the best medical care in the country - care that isn't available to anyone without power and/or money.
