Mad King Donald, a felon guilty of filing false business documents, has nominated EJ Antoni, chief economist of the conservative Heritage Foundation, to lead the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Antoni has never worked in statistics collection and received his PhD just five years ago. He's only ever written one economics paper -- his dissertation (which has exactly one citation, by a non-academic, non-peer reviewed publication).
His singular qualification is that he works in ultra-conservative think tanks and believes and parrots Mad King Donald's conspiracies about the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Erika McEntarfer, who was fired by Mad King Donald earned her PhD in 2002, has 47 publications to her name which have 1,327 citations.
One thing is certain, though: the next jobs report is going to be bigly HUGE.

The Heritage Foundation is responsible for a lot of the craziness of this administration. They are in league with the worst of the far right Christian organizations who want to turn this country into a theocracy.
