That premise only works for democrats.

Why does it only work for Democrats?

Imagine you were a Senator. That same bill comes to the floor, but it's got an extra provision in it. It has a provision that bars any state from prohibiting abortion in the first trimester. It makes it a federal crime to commit infanticide and it would undo nearly every first-trimester abortion restriction in the Red states.

Would you vote for that bill?
