Seen in the comments section on some article or other about Trump’s ballroom and Trump’s waxing on and on about its “impregnable” security features:
Let’s move on from talking about the features of the bunker…… and get to the bunker scene.
Lots of upvotes on that one.

That's been making the rounds. I did my part a few days ago with my "Look on the bright side" post, which quoted "Some Random Dude".

It's a monument to himself. Just like the arch. Just like the remodeled former Kennedy Center.

A while back, I read of a conversation about Trump, from decades ago. Two guys looking at Trump having three casinos in Atlantic City. One said words to the effect "this is nuts. his casinos will cannibalize each-other". The other guy said "he likes to see his name on buildings". Same today. Everything will become a monument to himself.
I am comforted by a quote from the movie Gladiator:
Gladiator was a remake of "Fall Of The Roman Empire". In the earlier film, the General, played by Stephen Boyd, knew that Marcus Aurelius wanted him to inherit the throne, but it had not been publicly announced. (same setup) When Marcus Aurelius died (poison), for the unity of the Empire, the General lead the cheer "Hail Commodus (Christoper Plummer), Hail undoubted Caesar". The General went on doing his General thing, until Commodus' mismanagement and brutality lead to the two fighting it out. The General survived the combat, and walked away in disgust, as various scumbags were offering progressively higher amounts for the General to name them Emperor. And now we have Trump the Magnificent, collecting bribes reaching 10 figures.
Steve...has both versions in personal DVD library

You wanna talk “seen on the internet”?
How about:
Tяцмр’s 80th birthday is coming up, and I wish for him the happiness of being reunited with Ivana.

Thanks. I didn't know about the prior movie. It's 3 hours long, from 1964. I'll have to try to watch it sometime!
