Apparently our insurer is discontinuing our plan. The ACA folks gave us a default "similar" policy, but I can't open the application until 11/1. So that's when I'll check if the new plan includes the doctors that we need, or maybe we need a different plan. We just got a new PCP, and she may be a keeper. Hopefully we'll be able to keep her. 1poorlady's oncology is next priority, and then neurology (for my craniotomy).

Being retired, most of our income is dividends. Enough that ours isn't free, but we're paying about 10% of list price. We did inherit mom's remaining assets, which have to be liquidated in 10 years (but I'm shooting for two so I can avoid IRMAA and having more distributions when we have to start taking our RMDs). I want to start drawing our monies down so we don't rocket into a new tax bracket when getting SS and the RMDs. Draw it down now, less RMD later.
