State Dept. Makes Visa Announcement for Farm Workers

The State Department has reinstated interview waivers for H-2A farmworkers renewing their visas, reversing previous policies that drew criticism over processing delays. Employers had warned that expanded vetting requirements were disrupting seasonal hiring and creating challenges for farm operations. With the renewal waivers back in place, H-2A workers can now complete visa renewals more efficiently.

There is no limit on the number of H-2A visas issued per year. With minimal "vetting", seems it would be easy enough for some bright spark to drive a bus across the border, load up, have INS rubber stamp their farm worker visas, and the farmers don't "suffer" from the effects of the racist regime they elected.
