Presented from ,mainstream source, about real events and real people. No personal attack on anybody.
While France is set to INCCREASE defense spending (hey, is Reagan in charge there? It's not Mondale or Dukakis or Carter is it...)
"French budget faces €4B in cuts as Iran war hampers growth"
"The government is looking for ways to make sure its budget deficit — the gap between what it collects in taxes and what it spends — doesn't exceed 5 percent of gross domestic product, as Paris envisioned when it passed its 2026 budget. The French government is also trying to keep its promise to get that figure down to 3 percent of GDP, as required by EU rules, by 2029."
---Lofty ambitions: Punish the Citizens, with the goal of----being well over the EU standard for deficits.
"On top of the existing financial support to low-income households to pay their energy bills via a so-called "energy check," the government is doling out €70 million in fuel subsidies to the most-affected sectors this mont"
Wait - doesn't France have a "Higher Minimum Wage" ? Those bumper-sticker shouting Co-Exist Self Segregated White Liberals keep shouting "$15 an hour"---for a decade now. 1.)Why not bump that up for inflation --- or does it spoil your slogan? 2.)France not only has "higher wages" but they have more generous government health care. Yet still----more and more----need fuel subsidy. Yes, "First world" indeed ;) Giggle Smirk haha.
Anyhow, here's to future cuts to PENSIONS, HEALTH SYSTEMS, EDUCATION, and Green Energy.
Just like someone----has predicted on TMF for years ;)
Boom.

The left has always been a hive mind that buzzes to a certain resonant frequency, but this board takes the cake: they start from a domestic political narrative then argue backward on how current events and perception fit it. It's remarkable.
