If anyone is interested in some of the inner workings of the Chinese economy, this is a worthwhile listen (watch).

I listened to this on my 3.5hr drive home today. Good perspective on China. I like most of Lex's interviews.

The mix of major industry and interest rates being controlled in some form by the government reminds me of the New Deal.

It is an economy geared to raise the standard of living.
