"Trump promised to slash US electricity bills, but they have increased by 11% since he retook the White House, data shows."
Average electricity cost increases since Trump took office (January):
NATIONWIDE +11%
Missouri +37%
Iowa +30%
North Dakota +30%
Oklahoma +30%
Nebraska +25%
Who remembers this lie? (one of thousands)...
"I intend to slash prices by half within twelve months! If it doesn’t work out, you’ll say, Oh, well. I voted for him.
I still got them down a lot. But, we’re looking to cut them in half, and we think we’ll be able to do better.
And, every single thing that I promise, I produce. Every single thing." ~Don The Con
Since January, however, average utility prices have gone up by 11% nationally. (Another Trump FAIL.)

The headline by Breitbart does not match the quote attributed to Trump, which you provided. Trump didn't promise anything.
Trump is very careful with what he says.
Trump: I "intend" to lower electricity prices. Not a "promise."
"I keep my promises." O.K. Both statements can be absolutely true and yet not mean that he "promised" to lower electricity prices. At least not in the quote you provided.
Trump doesn't actually "promise" much if anything. Find an actual "promise" he made, about anything, quote the full context including any caveats, and we can address the issue again.
What you're doing is the same thing the BBC, ABC, CBS did.

"Throughout his campaign, Trump vowed to cut the cost of energy and electricity for consumers dramatically."
"Under my administration, we will be slashing energy and electricity prices by half within 12 months, at a maximum 18 months," he said during an August campaign rally in North Carolina.
"We’re going to get your energy prices down. We’re going to get your energy prices down by 50%," Trump repeated in Pennsylvania just a few days later.
"Over nine months into his second presidency, there is no sign that electricity prices will be lower anytime soon. In fact, electricity prices have only risen, outpacing the rate of broader inflation."

but none of the six gave a single example. I'll give an example. Firing on the boats in the Caribe.
Snip The U.S. government is justifying its lethal destruction of a boat suspected of transporting illegal drugs in the Caribbean as an attack on “narco-terrorists.”
But as an expert on international law, I know that line of argument goes nowhere. Even if, as the U.S. claims, the 11 people killed in the Sept. 2, 2025, U.S. Naval strike were members of the Tren de Aragua gang, it would make no difference under the laws that govern the use of force by state actors.
Nor does the fact that protests from other nations in the region are unlikely, due in large part to Washington’s diplomatic and economic power – and President Donald Trump’s willingness to wield it...
...Domestic U.S. legal issues aside – and concerns have been raised on those grounds, too – the killings in the Caribbean violated the human right to life, an ancient principle codified today in leading human rights treaties.
Killing in war and peacetime
The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights is one such treaty to which the United States is a party. Article 6 of the covenant holds: “Every human being has the inherent right to life. This right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life.”

Steve,
I don't have to practice thinking about my constituency, nor worry about whether I'm going to be harried and dragged into court by the justice department, so I'm free to say what is truth.
The bombing of boats in the Caribe, under the guise of narco-terrorism is illegal by treaties we have signed, and by international law. We want to save those times we disregard the law for 1. when it benefits our Military not so here, and 2. when there is an actual threat to Americans not so here. And maybe something I can't think of at the moment. I think the chances are low that we'll see anything other than maybe a few monetary claims by relatives of those killed.
I understood that they were talking to the troops that may be deployed into American cities, but here is an example of an illegal order that is being obeyed. I want the officers that are going into the cities to be aware as I don't expect 18 year olds they command to fully understand.
It is both a political and legal ploy to ask for examples and I know you understand that.

No, legal experts widely agree that the six Democratic lawmakers did not commit sedition by issuing a taped warning to military members about refusing illegal orders. See link
Context of the Video
The Lawmakers The video featured six Democratic lawmakers, all military veterans or former intelligence officials: Senators Mark Kelly (D-AZ) and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), and Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO), Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), and Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA). The Message In the video, the lawmakers reminded service members of their existing legal obligation under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to obey only lawful orders and to refuse those that are illegal or violate the Constitution.
The "Illegal Order" Concern The lawmakers did not specify a particular order in the video itself, but Democrats have privately and publicly raised concerns that recent Trump administration actions, such as military strikes on vessels allegedly carrying drugs in Latin American waters, might be unlawful. Not just Slotkin. Kelly and the whole rest of the six traitor-crats OBVIOUSLY had already discussed among themselves whether or not the Caribe stuff was a result of illegal orders from Trump, and OBVIOUSLY concluded that nothing illegal was involved, at least no illegal Presidential Orders.
These six fools and their advisors obviously don't care about illegal orders, don't care about the Caribe, don't care about the military or intelligence communities.
The SOLE purpose of the stupid silly traitor video was to generate anger and engagement and hopefully donations from their ProGlib base.

None of the six traitor-crats are in the military chain of command. Nor are they in the intelligence community's chain of command.
None of them are JAG officers. None of them have any particular basis for making any claim to special, or for that matter, any competence as to matters of military law or international law or the law of war or any other subject matter area which might be relevant.
Their opinions are therefore, not only meaningless, but it would be potentially a violation of the UCMJ for a person in the military to base a decision to follow, or not follow, a superior's order based on having watched the traitor-crat video.
Ironically, you claim to be the expert of all experts, citing to what you believe are violation(s) of international law by Trump and hence the orders underlying those alleged violations are, according to your superlative expertise, "illegal" and should be defied by the persons to whom they are given.
I believe your paranoid schizophrenia is masking from you the complete inanity and irrationality of your position.
If you in fact are the expert above all experts, then you just proved that the six traitor crats are FOS, because they have a different opinion than yours.
You should be the one making the videos. Make a video and post your expert opinions on these subjects on Facebook.

That is another telling moment in the interview I linked to. Slotkin is talking about how service members need to consult their JAG officer, if they have any questions about the legality of an order. Martha Raddatz said "why didn't you say that in the video?"
The complete lack of thinking what that video will precipitate is stunning. The video will obviously draw questions about what illegal orders have been given. They have no answer. It was a stunt. A very poorly thought out stunt.

Meanwhile in the real world:
"An affordability crisis is sweeping the US, as higher prices of food, rents and healthcare force lower-income Americans to cut back on necessities just as the Trump administration curbs government supports."
"Resentment is building over the yawning wealth gap, as rising prices disproportionately hit lower-income Americans at a time when richer neighbors enjoy a housing and stock market boom."
"We see a lot of people who have been evicted because they couldn’t pay their rent, because they had a car accident and then couldn’t pay their medical bills.
I think that’s the sort of homelessness that we’ll start to see a lot more of."
"Many low-income Americans are under severe strain. There’s a bottom dropping out that I hadn’t expected, even as recently as last year."
