I went backwards and Katie took over on 1/1/21- at that time the operating ratio was 39%, the operating ratio is what Greg has focused hard on, calling it out in the letter and also during the meeting, 'we're 5th out of 6th'.

Katie appearing on the stage at the same time when earlier Greg calling out the gaps and 'step change' required to catch up, was notable to me. Publicly putting her feet to the fire so to speak.

It said to me that they both have confidence in her ability to pull it off.

Greg is showing us he expects his managers to meet higher expectations than in the past. And they are showing us they are ready and able to exceed those expectations. I suspect he knows how to select the right people and motivate them to excel, and I like their confidence, so I am optimistic.
