Given that it takes *some* effort to vote (which is why 33% of the country doesn’t bother) I don’t worry too much about these suppression tactics. My feelings might be different if I was a minority, or even voting in a minority district, but the numbers of people who are going to be cowed into not voting I would think (or hope, at least) is pretty small.
I am more concerned about other things:
* Republicans in charge of voting, where they did make it harder - but only in Democratic districts (by putting out fewer machines leading to long lines).
* Redistricting with the express purpose of restricting minority representations.
* And a Republican hyper-partisan now in charge of counting the votes via his purchase of Dominion systems. That’s a biggie.
* Also Republicans not seeming to care about checks and balances, the Constitution, the White House, having a deranged President doing whatever he pleases, subverting the voting for the USSC, not certifying an established Democratic Representative, unprecedented corruption, wholesale firing of competent staff, using the DoJ for retribution, and, you know, all the rest.
