Big Oil companies led by ExxonMobil and Chevron are paying shareholders bigger buybacks and dividends, evidence their outlook on oil prices is confident.

I own via Berkshire but also just initiated a position and I love what the CEO Wirth said and how they are treating shareholder wrt 75B in buybacks and a 6% divi raise. He gave a well rehearsed and rational response to the predictable White House demagoguery. Off 11% from recent highs and similar price to last March with subsequent real added value. Will buy more with dips as supply/ demand picture seems to be favorable for quite some time.

'Chevron's CEO on Climate Change, Oil Prices, and Warren Buffett | At Barron's'

Really enjoyed this interview with Chevron CEO, Mike Wirth- he seems to be very bright, well balanced, shareholder friendly ($75B approved buybacks, 6% divi raise), appropriately ESG sensitive and a great communicator. Outstanding to hear that he and Warren are friendly and had a 3 hour lunch together with WEB diving deeper into its business, vision and I am sure views on ongoing capital allocation!
