The amplitude in a couple days, high - low, is quite remarkable (500 - -545 is for 1045). I wonder if you can say anything trade-worthy about drastic reflexive moves like this?

Sadly, no - but as of Saturday morning both the U.S. & Iran have re-instituted blockades of the Straight of Hormuz.

Well, one possibility: I sold some stuff to raise yet more cash : )

Momentum is a valid approach, stay long till it stops going up. But heck, when somebody offers you a very high price for something you own, it makes sense to at least consider it before turning them down.

Pretty crazy market. BIRD had a market cap around $20m at the start of the week. On Wednesday more dollars worth of BIRD traded yesterday than dollars worth of Exxon. PartAI like it's 1999.

Pretty crazy market.

Over on Seeking Alpha, on any of the articles posted there, you can see the stark contrast in market outlook in the comments section based on a person's partisan political association.

The Trump faction is very enthusiastic and sees nothing but endless gains ahead for the market. Those not in the Trump camp are generally pessimistic.

In terms of market sentiment, I don't think I've ever seen it so cleanly divided.
