will be interesting if he sells all of it.
I suppose the next data point will be on or about Feb 15, 2025 (when Q4 trades are disclosed for below 10% holdings).

IF Buffett wants to sell another 10 million shs, today, he probable can.
I assume he does want to sell it all.
And you're right, today looks like a good day to continue that. Up over $2 so far today, so Berkshire's remaining stake up over $1.5bn.
But what's the news? Earnings expected but not out yet, if I'm reading things correctly. The only news release I saw was about Berkshire selling, which is hard to think of as bullish.

“But what's the news?”
I think it’s just a spillover bump from positive earnings out of JPM (+5%) & WFC (+6%)today. Hope BAC has similar good news on 10/15. I agree, Warren will likely sell it all by late Spring.

Dimon continued to warn, as he has regularly in recent years, that macroeconomic concerns and geopolitical risks have him worried, including the growing conflict in the Middle East and the U.S. government’s record-high debt outstanding.
This quote was from Jamie Dimon talking to analysts:
“It may or may not have a dramatic impact on the economy,” he said on a conference call. “We don’t know. We’re all hoping for the best.”
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Mr. Buffett clearly sees some clouds on the horizon, or so it seems.

IF Buffett sells below the 700 million shs mark he starts to sell very low-cost shares. IF he thinks tax rates might be higher next year, he might try to sell 100 million shs by year end, IF, he can without hurting the stock. Seems very unlike Buffett?

The yield curve steepening is quite bullish for BAC. It looks like we’re in early innings of a major steepening to, dare I say, normal levels. Or..much steeper..
The Fed doing its part on the short end, GDP growth from 2025 southeast US Rebuild and promised added stimulus from both candidates, and the effect of annual deficits with a present baseline of minus $1.8 Trillion to start…
Great news for banks, particularly BAC.

Saw that topic BAC under 10% now and I thought you were talking about Driving Under the Influence.

Strange coverage from cnbc last week. When a brk holding of 1.5 -2 billion is up obviously that isn't a Buffett buy and it's an odd lot relatively speaking. Go figure.
