Really, what's it going to take for you folks mired in the Trump Cult to wake up?
Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, reposted Russian propaganda that the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) -- which oversees Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and Radio Free Asia, among others -- which has shared important news, information and American values around the world has instead "perpetuated a pro-war narratives [sic] against Russia."
That is straight off of the Putin PowerPoint stack.
By shutting down Voice of America, King Donald Trump has given yet another massive gift to Russia. And the DNI claiming that Voice of America has maligned Russia is something that -- in normal times -- would have caused republicans to react with outrage. Now, it's just another weekday.
Whatever Putin has on Trump and Gabbard, it must be some amazing kompromat.

vindman was exposed to very high level classified info, which he cannot even refer to as a basis of confirmation\denial. vindman stated that trump is just reciprocating based on putin's influence campaign in the 2016 election. (personally, that benefit does not seem to be emotionally durable enough to keep trump happy).
if this is the key motivation, it seems vulnerable to putin accidentally being caught saying anything negative (e.g., wow, that trump is dumb) AND then also not being able to convince trump it was a deep fake, or distract by real-time public\private flattery.
