Starting today, around 22 million Americans enrolled in Obamacare will see their tax credits run out. Early retirees, middle-income households, small business owners, Black and Latino consumers, and residents of states that Pedo Don won in 2024 will likely see their premiums more than double in 2026.

Pedo Don is about to fcuk you the way he fcuked seventeen-year-old girls back when he was a fifty-year-old pervert.

Folks making over 400% of Federal Poverty Level will see their tax credits run out. Those under 400% will see their tax credits reduced.

That was already reflected in the exchanges, yes? So, if you've signed-up, you should see no difference (i.e. you already saw the changes).

For some odd reason I didn't see a significant change. My exact plan wasn't available this year, so I signed up for the recommended replacement. It had a slightly higher deductible, but was mostly the same.

Yes, but OP wrote "Starting today, around 22 million Americans enrolled in Obamacare will see their tax credits run out", which is, at best, rather misleading.

That's great. My income is all over the place so hard to compare year to year. Without subs ours went up 20%, same Bronze plan, slightly higher max out of pocket.

If I can stay below 400% FPL, what we will pay in 2026 will be less than 2025, but will be 14% of AGI versus 8.5%.

Makes you want to go back to jolly ole England? None of this nonsense there.

They even voted Boris' party out...you just have to put up with the anachronism of a monarchy.

Not that facts matter to the dum dum who started this thread, but the age of consent in NYC (where Trump is from) is 17.

Woody Allen even made a movie in 1979 called "Manhattan" where he played a character in his 40s having an affair with a 17 year old school girl.

Libs loved his stuff back in the day.

The dum dum who started this thread kind of sounds like a total misogynist who doesn't believe women who are of legal age should have any bodily autonomy.

Yeah, a nutty feminist, for sure.

I’ve seen estimates that the monarchy brings in more from tourism than it costs in their tax exemption. Not an entirely bad deal.

And I've seen estimates going the other way. It's a very squishy subject (i.e. getting solid numbers). However, even if you eliminate the monarchy, the tourists will still come to tour the palaces, look at the jewels, etc. Plus the windfall of taking over the public assets that the monarchy currently controls. Someone posted (I think prior to Charles' ascension) that as Prince of Wales he controlled much of the shoreline (or coastal waters) of the UK out to the 12 mile limit, which had some enormous financial benefits for him. I suspect as king, he still "owns" it.

Big bucks to be made in the near future: piss on Trump's grave.
I'll be willing to make that pilgrimage, and will have copious
amounts of liquids ready to ingest prior to toeing the line at his gravestone.

Can't wait.
