Some are safer than others, of course, and a new study from SmartAsset tried to determine which of the country’s major cities is the safest...

...Landing on top of the list is a city on the West Coast: San Jose, California. Finishing top 10 in every metric that SmartAsset studied, San Jose had the third fewest violent crimes in the country relative to its population, and the fifth fewest property crimes.

Five hours south of San Jose was the second safest city in the country, Los Angeles, which stacked up similarly in terms of all crime metrics and actually had a significantly lower vehicular mortality rate (in terms of traffic deaths per 100,000) compared to San Jose.

On the other end of the spectrum, Memphis, Tennessee, was listed as the most unsafe large city in the country. Albuquerque was listed just ahead of Memphis as the second most unsafe city, and Detroit was ranked as the third most unsafe city.

NY and CA are both on the DOJ's list of "sanctuaries". I didn't know DOJ had published an official target list.

Beyond the crime of sanctuary, the secondary issue is race. Trump said "these people are born to be criminals". He is pretty much in line with Reagan's SecEducation, Bill Bennett, who said, in 2005, to reduce crime, "abort all black babies".

Fundamentally, I do have a problem with jurisdiction that ignore Federal immigration law, but the way the Trump regime is enforcing the law is wrong.

Well, I did pose the question a while back - if you make abortion illegal, you will get more black/brown babies with more single black/brown mothers. Is that what you want? Silence.

Planned Parenthood has more roots in racism than Mr Bennett does.

Mr Bennett was simply discussing math and probabilities.

Either way, whether you people kill unwanted children or have them - both are consequences of bad culture.

None other than the Sainted RBG had some interesting opinions on that as well. PP got its start under Margaret Sanger (who was SandyLeeLee before SandyLeeLee was) and her ideas of eugenics back in the '30s IIRC.

Taking a wider view, some have posted here about Trump polling better in various racial/religious minorities. What makes those people think they will, somehow, be exempt from the pogroms of a regime, that thinks criminal tendencies are dictated by race?
