Unfortunately many people don't realize, won't accept their abilities are declining and continue to do things like driving when they can't (and unfortunately in the US, options are limited if you don't drive).

I recently went back to work after retiring for over a year. I only lasted 2 months. In my case it wasn't ability (yet) but I quickly realized I have no desire, and fortunately no need, to work/commute for 45+ hours.

Best wishes to Saul and all of us who, if we live long enough, will likely be in a similar position of declining abilities.
