The FAA is still "analyzing" the incident in Denver. When I saw the "oh wow! look at that!" video on the evening news tonight, I thought "gee, that looks like a 73 too".

The St Maarten -800 was built in 2009. The Max 8 in Denver was built in 2021. Jim McNerney, who learned his craft at Jack Welch's knee, became CEO of Boeing in 2005.

Different generations, built 12 years apart, but two main gear collapses in 6 weeks is unusual.
