I’m still not over the disaster of ‘24, and the Dem leadership suppressing the postmortem report just makes me even more upset with the lot of them.

Is there really anything new that could be revealed? We know the reasons Kamala lost: tied too closely to Biden (especially his mixed border policy), inflation from the Covid effect, shortness of her campaign, her femaleness, her race; trump's lies about economy, lies about how he would solve the border "crisis" and how everyone coming across was a rapist and murderer, lies about just about everything (which were bought hook, line and sinker by the magats).
Remember, though, how close she actually came to winning despite all the baggage and short timeline: this was not a popular vote blow-out, it was a percentage difference.
I **do** agree that Kamala should not be the 2028 candidate unless something greatly changes in the interim.

Well, as a former senator and vice president with the strongest name recognition in the party, someone who just filled up auditoriums across the country on a book tour, she'll certainly run again.

There are worse candidates. She was hobbled last time by Biden dropping out late, and her trying to rev-up in a very short time. She could make a better showing for herself this time. And she'll still have to get through the primaries. If Dems get a better candidate, she'll lose at that point. If not, the Dems gotta go with the best candidate that is willing to run.
After the excrement-show that is this administration, Dems may be able to run a ham sandwich and have it win. Maybe. Unless the Reps come up with someone extraordinary (that doesn't shout the MAGA line). I think they have pushed most of them out already, though.

No, there are not "worse candidates" than Kamala Harris.
She polled less than 1% in her own state the first time she tried to run in 2020 and had to drop out.
She actually called Biden a "racist" during one of the presidential debates during that cycle.
Of course Biden being a racist (according to her) didn't stop her from serving as his V.P. So you know right there she doesn't have an ethical bone in her body. (Assuming that wasn't already clear to you.)
The ONLY reason she was picked was she was a "minority female" who would be guaranteed to never outshine dimbulb Biden.
And she sure didn't.
Her one saving grace was her ability to raise and burn through $1.5 billion of campaign funds in 10 weeks.
That's what her potential "candidacy" will be all about. That's why she has a PAC. No one thinks she has a serious chance of winning anything. However, if she can raise a lot of money and then distribute it and launder it to her pals and cronies and connected law firms etc., then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
