Brookfield long term record is excellent! 17.92 versus 15.22 for the index over 15 years. The last couple of years it has lost its shine compared to the index. Other than the Magnificent Seven (M7), who hasn't!. S&P 493 is flat for this year. S&P 500 equal weight and S&P400 are also basically flat. 'Humiliated' assets typically outperform in the ensuing years. Dollar cost averaging into a basket of mid cap stocks should bode well as a long term strategy starting from today. The M7 tech stocks are riding high at a 30 P/E, but for the rest of the market the P/E is only around 16.
