Nothing quite says fascism like armed and masked agents assembled outside the Japanese American National Museum in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of Los Angeles -- history rhymes, dontchaknow -- as the governor is about to speak.

More than a dozen Border Patrol agents turned up in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday at a rally and news conference that Gov. Gavin Newsom was holding on congressional redistricting.

The governor’s event had nothing to do with immigration, and local elected officials expressed outrage that the federal agents decided to stand there in a brazen show of force outside a museum where Mr. Newsom and other leaders were speaking.

Well, they did manage to arrest a man who was in the area delivering strawberries.

Umm, DOGE, I have a tip on government waste and fascist abuse fer' ya'.

What was hilarious was ICE was arresting some illegal literally 100feet from where Gavin and those other losers were screaming incoherently into the microphone.

It's gratifying to read piece after piece by the few remaining sane people in the democrat party recoiling in horror at what their party is becoming and what its long term future is...

Umm, he was delivering strawberries, his everyday job.

Video captured of the scene showed federal agents on either side of a man, in a red shirt and jeans, whose hands were cuffed behind his back. As a passerby shouted that they were “cowards,” Bovino said, “well done.”

Carlos Franco said he works with Angel, the man who was arrested by federal agents, and said Angel was in Little Tokyo delivering strawberries. His delivery van was still parked outside the museum more than an hour after he was arrested, Franco said. Franco came straight to the scene after he received calls that his coworker had been arrested.

“He was just doing his normal delivery to the courthouse,” Franco said. “It’s pretty sad, because I’ve got to go to work tomorrow, and Angel isn’t going to be there.”

Saying he was shaken by his friend’s apprehension, Franco advised everyone to “be careful in general, whether you’re undocumented or not.”

Whew, dodged a bullet there. Thank Gawd for the brown shirts keeping us safe from the strawberry delivery man.
