U.S. becomes India’s top gas supplier, as Iran war cuts it off from the Gulf
Washington supplied 630,000 tonnes of LPG to India in May, roughly 60% more than the 380,000 tonnes the country received from all the Gulf countries put together, as per data from Kpler.
“Going forward, the India–US energy trade will increasingly focus on gas,” Sumit Ritolia, lead research analyst at energy intelligence firm Kpler, told CNBC.
The U.S., with its “abundant shale resources and expanding export infrastructure,” is uniquely positioned to benefit from India’s need to diversify gas supplies, he added.https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/11/us-india-lng-lpg-s...Meanwhile, CENTCOM says strikes on Iran are "complete". Stalemate, with the Strait closed, is the intended outcome. Because it's about enriching big oil. Israel may not realize it, but it's agenda is secondary to enriching big oil.

He also threatened to take control of Iran's oil and gas markets, after Tehran and the US traded strikes overnight. …Remember what Joe Kent said about Trump introducing "poison pills" to guarantee the "talks" fail? This is another one: the US running Iran's oil industry, like it has taken over Venezuela's. Not a chance.
Stalemate is the objective. The Strait closed is the objective.
Consider this: Trump blabbing about the US' secret operation to smuggle oil out of the Strait. So what was Iran's response? Increase vigilance at the Strait, to stop the smuggling, which is what Trump wants.
Iran Maritime Body Says Hormuz Completely Closed 'Until Further Notice'
Iran's new body overseeing the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday confirmed a complete closure order for the strategic waterway until further notice, after the Revolutionary Guards announced the move overnight.
"Due to the tensions caused by the aggression of the American forces in the region and the announcement made last night by the Iranian armed forces, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed until further notice," PGSA said in a post on X .https://english.aawsat.com/world/5282817-iran-mari...Steve

US becomes world's largest oil exporter, overtaking Saudi Arabia and Russia
According to Vortexa, U.S. oil exports rose to about 10.5 million barrels per day in May, supported by strong production and releases from strategic reserves, making the United States the world's top oil exporter for a third consecutive month.
Reuters calculations showed that Russia exported 7 million barrels per day in May, while Vortexa estimated Saudi Arabia's exports at 5.9 million barrels per day.
By comparison, Saudi Arabia exported around 8.1 million barrels per day in 2025, the United States exported 6.6 million barrels per day, and Russia's exports totaled approximately 5.8 million barrels per day.At the same time, the United States' new dominance could weaken the pricing power traditionally exercised by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies in global oil markets.
Its position as the world's largest oil exporter could also give Washington a powerful new source of leverage in negotiations with allies and rivals, Reuters reported.https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/us-becomes...All that lovely MONEY flowing to USian big oil, and a new club for Trump the Conqueror to beat everyone up with.

They said it out loud, two years ago, "energy domination".
Predictably, everyone loves it:
Middle East allies expected that in exchange for a $400 million luxury airliner, historic "deals" and flattering headlines, the U.S. military would decisively smash Iran's capability to threaten their oil fields, keep the Strait of Hormuz open for their ships, and preserve the old status quo.
Instead, they got Project 2025 in action: the administration took the plane, pocketed the defense contracts, and then essentially told the region, "Thanks for the ride, but if your ports get hit by drones, you'd better buy some more American-made Patriot missiles to fix it."
In the "America First" calculus, personal flattery and luxury gifts are pleasant "gestures of good faith," but they will never override the raw economic goal of capturing global energy market share at the expense of everyone else—allies included…
The Bottom Line: The Gulf states view U.S. energy dominance as a predatory move. Every long-term contract the U.S. signs with India or Europe right now is a contract stolen from Riyadh or Abu Dhabi. They aren't supporting America's market growth—they are desperately trying to build enough infrastructure to survive it.
